For light relief.......I had a routine colonoscopy two weeks ago after a first one in 2011 (home test positive, polyp, all fine then bc 12 months later!). A new polyp, surgeon happy but routine biopsy, GP to be advised. Wasn’t fussed about not hearing anything, wasn’t worried but then decided I should not be slack and check with GP. My biopsy result is annotated with ‘Dr to see’. No one can give me any info.
You all know that feeling in the stomach? Doctor not back till Tuesday, made an appt then rang back to say someone must be able to tell me NOW? 2 hr wait but all is perfectly fine. Note means Dr will see me and give me the report next time I am in. Ah, those little things are sent to try us. Next time, I will ask for the results to go to me please, the body in question! Good luck, hope all your outcomes are finally as straightforward.
