OMG - your current soap opera is SO mimicking my own this time last year, with so much incompetence by the so-called professionals it is just NOT funny! I know exactly how you feel!
We are normally pretty strong, resilient women who have coped with everything thrown at us so far - and can brush off the odd 'hiccup' .... but when it comes to major stuff-ups with our BC reviews treatments/processes - it really is not acceptable.
Something 'relatively simple' has become 'something almost impossible in a different city, by a different person' and the stress levels are raised beyond acceptable. :( Put it all in writing & send it to your most trusted team member - surgeon, Onc or Rad Onc ... Stuff it - send it to ALL of them - so they are aware of exactly what is going on.
Funnily enough, my most recent scans (3 weeks ago, after NOT being sent to my GP for over 2 weeks) were eventually sent to a specialist Cardiologist instead of my BC surgeon as they reckoned they couldn't read the writing on the referral! Ummmm ... they had heaps of my previous referrals/scans to check the correct names ...... and didn't even query why it should go to a fucking cardiologist! HELLO!? Are they all fucking stupid? That would be a big fat YES!
