  • Welcome to this site, it will be a great support for you. As the ladies have said, one day at a time is good advice. It's all a bit hectic at first, but once you have a plan of action, you will be able to work your way through this. Take care Tracey, I wish you all the best,

  • It is a shock in the beginning Tracey, but try not to get too far ahead of yourself.Take it one day at a time(easier said than done)and when you need help and advice, come to this AMAZING network, where you will be supported by other ladies who know exactly what you are going through. All the best with your specialist appointment.Once you have done that, things start moving along, and you will feel as though you have a plan, and you are not just waiting.Remember to come back on here and let us know how you are doing. :) Xoxo Robyn
  • Just want to welcome you also and to say that we know what it feels like to have your life taken over by BC. I had the works this year (mastectomy, chemo and radiation) but you do emerge from the tunnel and get back to life again. The next few weeks will be tough but it does get easier once you know more about your cancer and what the experts will do to treat it. As Chris and Janey have said this is a great place to get support along the way. Wishing you good luck with it all. Take care. Deanne xxx
  • Yes welcome to our Pink Sisterhood. It sounds like you have been on the other side and helped women through by lending them your ear. Now it IS your turn and we are all here to listen to you. It is a whirlwind at the beginning and there isn't time to really take it all in yet. This will come though and will come with a whack! So I imagine that you may take some of the advice you give to others but remember that you don't have to always be brave and it is healthy to get things off your chest. This network of wonderful women have been my life saver this year. I've found new friendship, support, love and inspiration and it's been truly amazing. I hope you find the same Tracy. My thoughts go out to you and I wish you good luck with everything. Love Janey xxx

  • Hi Tracey! welcome to this site. We have all been where you are now, so, do really know what you are going through. You will receive lots of support here, and it is a safe place to ask questions. There is usually someone who will be able to support you or answer a question through experience. You are about to hit the roller coaster running. I had my breast cancer surgery in December 2010. I had 6 days between diagnosis and lumpectomy. I had to have more surgery, and came out of hospital on Christmas Day that year. I have now come out the other end, and 3 years have passed, surprisingly quickly. I am well, and enjoying life. Please feel free to rant and rave on here, as we all understand. Good luck with everything. Love Chris xx
