Nerve Pain = Lyrica

I just wanted to say Lyrica is used for Fibromyalgia which is an over sensitivity to pain. So this is why it works well. I have fibromyalgia diagnosed about 10yrs ago. To be honest i recovered and forgot about it. Through chemo my side effects were severe and the Staff checked my file and said thats why. That anyone who has that unfortunately suffers more. Uuugh. Lyrica makes me sick so cant take it at all. 

Hey Brenda! Oh I wasnt even aware of any gas?? Ive had 3 surgeries in 3yrs and been so ill each time and with different hospitals and anaesthetists, Im definitely going to ring when I find out who it is and talk about it, I'll also be asking Surgeon to talk to Recovery staff as I dont want a repeat of last year, overdosing and mixing drugs made me so incredibly ill. Yes I remember the nerve pains vividly, as long as I can manage on panadol and nurofen Im fine! x 

Mel, next anaesthetic you have, tell them NO gas. That's the one that made me really sick. The second op he did all inline dose and no gas and I was loads better with no being sick at all. Nerve pain after mastectomy only really grabbed me bad once and it only lasted a few minutes while I uttered a string of expletives. Panadol and Nurofen was ok for the first op but by the second one I was over having pain so they gave me Targin. It has an inbuilt laxative so you don't get bound up. The spiders under the skin feeling does get less over time. I wasn't too worried about it as I knew that was the nerves healing themselves and that's a good thing.

I just wanted to say, that certainly nobody is saying alternative therapies heal breast cancer. They absolutely help however deal with side effects  and definitely recovery. Xo Melinda

 I had permission from my MO and he was skeptical at best about it but he saw it  helped me.    I am did NOT state it heals Breast cancer ..

Hi everyone. I'm obliged to remind the community that crystal healing is an alternative therapy and has not been scientifically proven to be effective in treating breast cancer or side-effects of treatment. Please be sure to talk to your medical team if you are contemplating alternative therapies.

I have been on Lyrica for nerve pain from mastectomy and chemotherapy damage - neuropathic pain. 
It has helped and was the only thing that got me not to dread every slight move for all over body pain. It unfortunately has some side effects. Take it as directed. Do not forget doses. Make a small few days supple to store in you car or purse. 
I find afternoon fatigue ongoing from taking Lyrica. But much better than the extreme pain. I find I still have break through pains and sharp nerve pain. But if I sleep week it's not as bad. 
Im on 150 morning and 150 evening. 
Also I find it best to take evening at 8pm. If I wait until I go to bed the pain has broken through. 
Good luck. Most people's breast pain slowing disappears. My breast pain is mostly gone. Only occasionally nerve pain like I have a breast still. 

@Melclarity     I used sprays for helping with things I will get you a link. instead of pre med prior to surgery I used the calming spray... so less medications going into my body etc... I combined mainstream medical with kineisology to work through the BC journey. 
The sprays are Nymea and then she has spiritual, grounding, anxiety, protection etc  Lorraine makes them herself.
