Letrozole

Good evening lovelies...today I had an appointment with MO...got my bone density results back..above average best he’s seen in awhile he tells me...and also prescription for letrozole...is there a best time to take it...morning or night...and also with the joint pain how bad has it effected some of you and weight gain? Aaahhh I’ve already put on 8kg since been diagnosed especially around the tummy area...thank you Nellie xx

    Good news about your bone density, always good to start with money in the bank as it were with letrozole! I take Femara in the morning, I have never had any joint pain or flushes or weight gain for that matter. It has had some effect on my bone density and I am hoping five years (May this year) will be it. But no need so far for any preventative treatment, my bone density was very good for my age when I started.  I have also a considerable degree of vaginal dryness. May have occurred anyway but I think Femara has increased it. Good luck!
