I'm back & now it's back to reality...
Well my husband & I had a great week away down South camping at Walpole, lovely during the day & cold at nite.. We did the beautiful tree top walk & we also did the Eco cruise just so Awesomely beautiful...we went for lots of walks fishing & visited a couple of friends I hadn't seen in a long time, my girlfriend lives on 50 acres at kent river with her partner & they are totally self sufficient, beautiful organic garden, she gave me a box to bring back with me,so yummy & fresh...she has inspired me to start up my own organic garden.... So our time away has just been so totally Awesome......
Now for reality, I got my results from my Biopsy & they didn't get enough tissue to test & they can't try again due to how thick the endometrium has become, so now I have to have a hysterectomy on the 9th of April for sure....The Gynaecologist said they will be able to test properly for cancer of the uterus when its out & there was no need to take my ovaries because there is nothing wrong with them!!& my chances of ovarian cancer are very low & I am peri menopausal & will be taking tamoxifen after the op, he felt strongly that tamoxifen will do its job...
So I walked out feeling ok with that! until I saw the breast surgeon who wasn't even mine because my surgeon was sick, anyway he was not happy!! he reckons the ovaries should come out because my tumours were estrogen driven, but it is my decision he said...my gut feeling tells me to go with what the gyno is saying....just a bit scared & nervous about this whole cancer thing & would love some positive opinions & reassurance.....
Hoping you are all going well in your journeys :)
take care..........Christine:) x
