Hi all,
I have to do an MRI tomorrow and feeling very anxious. I am not normally claustrophobic, but the last time I did an MRI was one day after my lumpectomy in late 2012 and I totally freaked out. But I know that I need to do the MRI tomorrow so that the doctors can determine whether the thing they found in my liver is actually cancer. Wish me luck!
Good you got through the mri, sorry about the results but at least you know what you are dealing with. Take a breath and hang in there, sending you a hug xxxxx

Hi ladies. Thanks for your advice. I did the MRI and didn't freak out. But unfortunately the MRI confirmed my suspicion that I now have cancer in my bones/lower back. So need to do radiotherapy. Very upset but a least I know what i am facing now. Trying to keep strong for my family.

Eyes clothes...thoughts elsewhere...I just thought about shopping or things I needed to do and did slow my breathing down. Maybe remember a great trip out. Most definitely not the time for mindfulness but distraction. Good luck. Kath x
