I'm sure there are quite a few people that can't tolerate tamoxifen just as with any drug, so you certainly are not alone. I am terrified of it and not looking forward to taking it myself, I have agreed to try it but if it's not for me I will stop regardless of the recommendations, the percentages are small for me also but a benefit is there if I can tolerate it but there are the sideffects too.
There is no correct path here it is very individual but if you carnt take something you carnt take it, no point struggling with the idea if the answer is already known and adding extra pressure and stress to yourself.
I don't know about any other alternatives but I'm sure a medical oncolgist would be the person to ask.
