Thank you for your concern. Helps to know i am not alone with my questions.

I had a phone consult with my surgeon who felt it may have just been a small bleed.  I have continued to feel well in myself so just took antibiotics as a precaution. Think that my bra needs replacing due to size and shapeshape difference of the affected breast and that it is a minimising style which is adding too much pressure to the affected area. Not sure?

Just a quick update.

I had a consult with my surgeon by phone and photos and she was not overly worried. As she said i was feeling well in myself. Finished the antibiotics as a precaution. There is still some redness. Gets a little worse during day. Think it may be from extra pressure from minimising bra i have always worn?

Out and about walking for 6 to 8 hours taking in the sights and sleeping well each night. So all in all evetything is ok for me.

Thank  you.  Yes they all put in to evaluate and undertake all requiremebts so that i could come away.  All thanks to a nurse in Breast Screen who when i was undertaking all of my call back tests after a regular biannual scan showed a shadow.  Askedvthevsimple question if what is your main concern and i said that i would do what ever was needed to come through the BC journey but that the timing sucked as i was due to go New York to celebrate my 60th birthday in just over 3 weeks. She noted it down and so from then on each doctor passed it on and was ready to make sure that if my diagnosis allowed i would be able to get on that plane. If i needed chemo i would have needed to cut it short but thsnkfully i don't do have already stated my hormone treatment and my radiation lan is done to startbon day one back home. Meanwhile i am walkingbeveryday, enjoying ife, and eating well.

It seems this is avsmall nleed that due to gravity is showing low on the breast. Taking antibiotics as a precaution.

I like the sound of your medical team: they have got their priorities right! Love travelling and love travelling in the USA ! Not everyone has a breast care nurse I didn't.  Anyway hope all goes well. Hopefully just another travel misadventure tale!   Best wishes

Thanks for letting us know, April.  As a seasoned traveller, I know how miserable it is to sick to be away from home.  I have been worrying about you as a result, as have many of this sisterhood, judging by the comments.  Please keep us updated on what the doctor you see says.  I certainly want to travel again, and knowledge is power.

I have staryed antibiotics and will seek medical advise just incase. Other than this i am feeling great and enjoying my days walking around New York.
