All thanks to a nurse in Breast Screen who when i was undertaking all of my call back tests after a regular biannual scan showed a shadow. Askedvthevsimple question if what is your main concern and i said that i would do what ever was needed to come through the BC journey but that the timing sucked as i was due to go New York to celebrate my 60th birthday in just over 3 weeks. She noted it down and so from then on each doctor passed it on and was ready to make sure that if my diagnosis allowed i would be able to get on that plane. If i needed chemo i would have needed to cut it short but thsnkfully i don't do have already stated my hormone treatment and my radiation lan is done to startbon day one back home.
