Stage 3 Breast Cancer

Hi @Siewli...I hope you're feeling a little more settled with the knowledge that your cancer has not been detected in other body parts, other than the breast and axillary nodes. In September 2016 I was diagnosed as Stage 3, Grade 3, Triple positive, multifocal (more than one lump) and with nodes involved. I had 4 Z AC chemo, followed by 12 X Paclitaxel as well as Herceptin for just under a year. I had chemo first and then a bilateral mastectomy mid 2017 with node clearance on the left and sentinel node on the right. I am on letrozole and will be for at least ten years...so until at least 2027. I remain NED (no evidence of disease) five years post active treatment. Good luck with your treatment. Big hug...Ally.
