Post op - A bit lost

@Abbydog, it's getting lesser after 2 weeks. Now post 3 weeks, I don't really feel much now.

How did you go?
Was it a seroma?

@Mez_BCNA @Julez1958 Thanks for thr response. I called the breast care nurse in the end n she told me it's quite normal if I can feel the fluid running inside my body as the drain just removed not long ago. But she did mention that if I feel any discomfort just go to ED. I will monitor tonight.

By the way I then had radiotherapy and DIEP reconstruction some months later ( last August) and have recovered well .

i never had anything like this but a few days after I was discharged from hospital ( on a Sunday) after my skin sparing mastectomy with insertion of tissue expander I felt like my breast was going to explode ( hard to describe really) , I had my surgery at St Vincent’s Private here in Sydney and my plastic surgeon said if I had any big concerns  out of office hours to present myself to St Vincent’s Emergency and ask for the plastic surgery registrar .
I did that and saw the Registrar and  he assured me it was not infected or anything to be worried about .
I guess the issue is how alarmed you are about it if you feel presenting to your local hospital is required .
I felt a little silly at the time about presenting myself to emergency where people were having heart attacks etc but I had worked myself up into a state and was glad I did it.
