Oh bugger...and don't have a bleach bath. God...ask her where the wound healing evidence is for that. ..is she 100 years old or something. I'm so sorry for your issues. I had one area of delayed healing due to a stictch poking through. I used a cut down vomferl dressing and tbe edges sealed down with hyperfix. Left intact for  to 5 days. Always smelly when removed...lightly clean (no poking or disturbing new growth) and replace. As soon as healed from underneath and level swap over to a dry dressing so it doesn't over granulate. Perhaps ask at the wound clinic.
