it is always such a shock to hear the 'you have cancer' news. .
Have you been advised what type of surgery you will require? If it's not a lumpectomy, I recommend you join the private 'recon' group here and also the 'flat' group. I had a double mastectomy in Nov 24.
You will have so much going through your mind at the moment so have a notebook with you and write down any questions that come to mind because when the time comes to ask your questions, you will likely forget.
