Sorry you had a need to find us! A big day today for you but hopefully it won't be as bad as you're predicting. I was 37 at diagnosis almost 3 years ago and frightened beyond words but it does get better. I've had a double mastectomy and recon also and am very happy with my results so hopefully you'll be too, not that it is the same as our originals. Just thought you may like to know there are a couple of Facebook groups setup in aust for young women with breast cancer. The two I know of are 'young women with breast cancer' and 'surrounded by pink sisters' . You may find them helpful. I found them and still do, easy to access and a wonderful support group. Quite a few people in both groups are from Melbourne.
