Margins
Can anyone tell me what an acceptable margin is please ? Just got results of wide excision ...Mine is 0.1 mm 1.4 mm forgot the other.

- One of my margins was 1mm and my BS kept saying "small but clear margin" so I queried it. He said that in Australia the basic standard is 2mm but in the US is was 1mm. In the last few years we've become more accepting of the 1mm margin here. He said that technically one cell qualifies as a clear margin and that the difference between one and two mm was not to be worried about.
How was the pathology? K xox
