@Flindersia I think trying to stay calm and trying not to guess what the outcome will be is really important. I am probably only a few weeks ahead of you in being diagnosed. I had the lumpectomy on 10JUL (a relatively 'easy' surgery - I went to work the next day although am still a bit sore under the arm). While waiting for the results I imagined all of the worst scenarios and had multiple panic attacks. However, yesterday my results were really really positive and for now I am just facing minimal treatment that doesn't include chemo.
