Oh I understand the 2 am laying awake in a cold sweat already planning for my children when I’m gone. Mine was high grade, 8 lymph nodes malignant, and all I can see too often is not making the first year before it’s back. I understand your stress. I am leaning after 4 months ( halfway through chemo, and 2 surgeries down) is that today I am well. Today I am having the best treatment I can have and I will take care of this body as best I can for as long as I can. I refuse to google - my surgeon told me not to and I never have - and I only listen to positive stories. I don’t want to waste good days worrying about what might happen down the track - it won’t help, and it ruins my days now.
90 percent of people diagnosed with breast cancer are still going strong after 5 years - keep that in your mind. Remember you only have to worry about today - tomorrow is unknown for everybody, not just people with cancer. Take care of you xx
