High Grade Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma
Ive just received results of my biopsy today. Of course went direct to Dr Google. Worst thing. I’m now sitting up in bed at 2.30am with no sleep feeling nauseous as the outlook seems very grim. Loads ...

Oh I understand the 2 am laying awake in a cold sweat already planning for my children when I’m gone. Mine was high grade, 8 lymph nodes malignant, and all I can see too often is not making the first year before it’s back. I understand your stress. I am leaning after 4 months ( halfway through chemo, and 2 surgeries down) is that today I am well. Today I am having the best treatment I can have and I will take care of this body as best I can for as long as I can. I refuse to google - my surgeon told me not to and I never have - and I only listen to positive stories. I don’t want to waste good days worrying about what might happen down the track - it won’t help, and it ruins my days now.
90 percent of people diagnosed with breast cancer are still going strong after 5 years - keep that in your mind. Remember you only have to worry about today - tomorrow is unknown for everybody, not just people with cancer. Take care of you xx
