Hi. Waiting for final results tomorrow

Yes radiation therapy can be optional in some cases. It depends on what strain and size of breast cancer you have etc. I had a sit down with the head of radiography and he said (in my case) it would probably do more harm than good but i could insist on it if I wanted it. After a mastectomy and chemo I opted to follow his recommendation and not have radiation therapy.
