Hard to believe that one week has now passed since my mastectomy and sentinel node biopsy. The surgeon said all went well and he only took the sentinel plus 2 more nodes so hopefully nothing had a chance to travel. I suffered immensely from nausea this time and today is the first day that I feel relatively ok. My follow up appointment with breast surgeon is tomorrow morning so I am looking forward to finding out the details about this sneaky little shit of a thing. Needless to say, I am anxiously awaiting my appointment with my oncologist to see what she has to say about all of this. I am so thankful that I have you ladies to help support me and get me through this most distressing time. Love to all and stay healthy, Heather xx
