Help! What should I do?
i was diagnosed with breast cancer on Thursday the 8th November and am currently trying to get in to see a breast surgeon. So far my doctor can only get me an appointment on the 23rd Nov which 11 days...
Good luck @CathyMac, I was diagnosed nearly 2 years ago and my surgery was a week before Christmas .The wait seems intolerable as you just want the cancer gone but your surgery date will roll around soon enough. I wrote all my worries and concerns down when I received my BCNA journal and that helped.I went public and was going to use my health insurance if it meant I would be operated on quicker but when the theatres (both public and private) are full, there's not much you can do but breathe and wait.
