So sorry to hear you are here. If I can say anything from my experience about this diagnostic work up period it is just don't ask Dr Google anything! He'll just make you feel worse and won't help! Also be kind to yourself, doing nice things, eat week, rest, do things you like to take your mind elsewhere. The diagnostic work up was one of the hardest bits emotionally for me, not knowing and waiting drove me to the edge (and I googled waaaaay too much!!). But, as others have said, it does get easier once you know what you're working with.
Regarding the other spots, it's best they find and investigate suspicious spots and get them out all in one go if they're cancer. This happened to me too, I found a lump and they found other spots of dcis. This helped me develop a good treatment plan with my surgeon. I can say that now, only ten weeks post op.
