Hi @JoB I had my first AC on the 26th. I'll be having 4 'dose dense' AC's with neulasta and then 12 weekly taxol. I have suffered terribly this week with symptoms - nausea, fatigue , disorientation and vertigo and my skin is really sore. Day 3 and 4 were the worst for me. Feeling a little more human today, mouth not as sore, but still terrible vertigo - maybe low BP. As this is my first chemo treatment I"m terrified of how I"m going to feel after my 2nd, 3rd and 4th AC. Really thought I'd fare a bit better than this as I worked hard to get as healthy as possible prior to starting chemo, but symptoms are really getting me down... feeling useless and inefficient..
I am booked in for a port on the 19th March, as this is the earliest they can do it. (public hospital). Don't know how on earth I'm going to cope with fasting prior to the general anaesthetic as eating small bits is the only thing that settles my stomach. Wish I'd been told about the usefulness of a port prior to chemo, so I could have got on the waiting list earlier! Best wishes to you and all the other ladies here. Stay strong!!
