Frustrating times
I visited my surgeon today for the pathology results from my surgery. Unfortunately the lab has been inundated and my results aren’t through. I had myself all prepared for the news and feel a bit bewildered now.
He did did tell me that he suspects I had a second mass under the first detected one and had removed a lot of tissue down to my chest wall.
Just when you think you might be able to make a plan, bam - it changes.
On the upside, I will now get to go on my week break to Jarvis Bay because the mastectomy won’t happen till after the new year. Having thought that however, I’m still mentally preparing for a short notice call back to surgery if the margins weren’t clear.
