Chemo treatment

SO sorry to see you here for a 2nd time snow​ ... You might like to join the Triple Negative Private Group, to see if anyone has had the same treatment that you are starting next week? .... Also, just chat with others who've been thru the Triple Neg treatment .... they may have some tips & tricks that they can share with you.  All posts are confidential - only other group members can read & reply to them. xx  If you put in a request today, the Mods should OK it tomorrow (as the Mods will be taking a break from the end of the week til early Jan.)

ANY cancer diagnosis can really muck with your brain, and you've had the double whammy - so if you feel sad, angry, distressed - that is absolutely 100% NORMAL!  I hope that you have supportive family & friends around you, specially at this time of year  xx

If the sadness/distress is ongoing .... ask your GP (or your treating team) for a referral to see a counsellor .... I'd suggest you listen to Charlotte Tottman's podcast (link below).  Charlotte Tottman  is a BC specialist counsellor who was diagnosed herself, had a double mastectomy - so she knows EXACTLY what we've all been thru, both emotionally and physically!  Her reaction to her own diagnosis was also quite different to what she 'thought' it might be, given that she'd been counseling women's reactions for some years before her own diagnosis, so thought she 'new' what to expect!  She is VERY easy to listen to, too xx
