Breast Marker Clips

Hi all,
Tomorrow I have an Ultrasound appointment, this is presumerably to place in some markers so they can track the size of the tumours during chemo. Also they mentioned injecting carbon into the affected lymph node.
Just wondering if anyone has had this done? Is it similar to the core biopsy?
