With both your breasts having surgery, you will have restrictions of movement for a while & also not be allowed to do any housework, lifting etc until told otherwise. Make sure you don't 'accidentally' do this (by picking up your dogs or anything else that is heavy.) I'd suggest that you start cooking some meals now, to freeze, so that you have some 'ready to go' for when you get home! All your favourites ;)
Ask your breast care nurse about support cushions for after your surgery. They really help with comfort, particularly at night.
My biggest tip would be that if family or friends offer support of any kind, be it walking the dogs or taking the kids to sport, mowing the lawns - anything - say 'Yes Please' xx. It will help you and they will also feel that they are helping you - so a win/win situation for all.
