Any other Takotsubo patients out there?

I have recently been diagnosed with Intermediate grade DCIS in my left breast and Infiltrating DC in my right breast and am only a few months out from my Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy event. Am considering a double mastectomy (purely for symmetry - my Mother had a mastectomy in the 70's and never got to talk to her about her experience.) I'm an hour away from my first consultation with a recommended breast surgeon and have all my questions ready. Is anyone else out there on heart medication and have gone through this surgery soon after their event?
