To drink or not to drink?

Just wondering.... I've been very careful to avoid alcohol since being diagnosed with BC. But I have in the past enjoyed a white wine or too, a vodka at times, a Baileys or a Cointreau to top off a good evening...

Sometimes I really feel like letting the hair down (I wish!!!) and partaaayyying! I've read some research (and probably really just common sense) that says cancer and alcohol don't mix. Especially with the drugs we're given. Herceptin in particular. So I'm being careful.

But I'd love to know of research that tells me it's OK to less loose every now and then!
