I am in Sydney but wanted to say this therapy is definately beneficial.
I saw a practitioner suggested by my McGrath breast care nurse and she was excellent.

I was recommended to a specialist phsio at the grange but can't remember their name now. I could nor get in to them but got a second recommendation to this lady Karen. She was really helpful and has extra qualifications for lymphoedema.

Karen is a member of the relevant Australasian Lymphology Association and had the relevant qualifications.

I would recommend using the Australasian Lymphology Association website and their find a practitoner tool.Add your postcode, widen the radius past the 5km and it will give you a list of names and contact details you can then follow up. Some may be specialised physios for assesment, some may  be massage, some may be both- but at least you know they have some extra qualifications and shouldn't be 'beauty lymphatic massage' which is different to what you need after breast cancer surgery.If you haven't already, it is good to go to a lymphoedmea therapist for a assesment, range of motion and ldex measure ,and for education and assesment of your lymphoedema risk . You don't have to have lymphoedmea to go to a lymphoedema therapist, they would also know who is appropriate qualified for massage if they don't do it and knows about current compensatory pathways and laser etc.Lymphatic massage is for everyone- but there are a lot of under qualified charlitans out there.
