It is the little things ......

Hi Ladies

Having read 'Butt Naked' by Ne and the lovely responses I am reminded that the little things in life do bring us pleasure and hope.  Having had a lot of bad times recently it is the happy memories which have kept me going.

How about everyone think of one small memorable thing - whether it be something seen in nature, a poem, an outing, something nice someone has done for you etc - and post it on this website.  Take some time for yourself today to remember that there have been, and there will, be more good times.

Your happy memories may well bring a welcome smile to a BC traveller who needs a bit of a lift today or tomorrow.

As I posted earlier, my memory is of a skinny dip like Ne and the Willy Wagtail currently nesting in a tree by our back door - I am still waiting to take a photo of the babies when they raise their heads.

Hope you are feeling the good vibes being sent by this post.

Big hugs

Summer  :-)

Hey Summer, my fond memory is rocking to Joe Camelleri with my husband at the Wangaratta Jazz and Blues festival. Up dancing amongst us was a cross dresser in his lovely halter neck frock, he did look gorgeous with his beard, his arms in the air, and you could tell he felt beautiful. Everyone had a smile on their face and we're just so happy for him. Talk about let your hair down, just goes to show that we all need to embrace the day, and create those wonderful moments that we all remember so fondly. Still smiling with my lipstick on every day, Trace ????????

  • Hi Summer I try and do this when things get me down, this is what keeps me going tomorrow is normally better. At the moment I'm packing to go and see my daughter, I'm so excited and I remind myself this is why I work and put up with the crap.
