Hi, I was recently diagnosed at 19 wks pregnant with IBC after finding a large mass that literally appeared overnight. 3 weeks later I recieved my first chemo cycle, I have had 3 out of 4 now, mastectomy scheduled in Feb then Radiation and 3 more cycles of chemo. So my first and last child is growing normally inside of me, I feel robbed but atleast I have her to fight for also, so feel blessed I was given her before the choice was taken away. Has anyone else gone through this?

Miss Eve is my #2 [and last : ( ] princess. I also have a 4 year old. I was triple negative, so I'm not on Tamoxifin or similar to block hormones. Good work trying to focus on, and tackle the present. I'm surprised that now (20 months post treatment) sometimes I ask myself, did I really go through all of that?? Did I REALLY have cancer? Everyone's different of course, but for me, time certainly does heal : )
Congratulations angel1279 That is such beautiful news and so glad you girls can be there for Kimmi as reassurance it is very possible to bring a precious pot in to the world.

Thanks Christine, well if at all possible I hope to have another child so I will be in my forties and while risky it seems more common now and it would be lovely to have a normal pregnancy. Thanks xx
Thank you for your story and thoughts, I agree, 1 day at a time helps tremendously. Thinking too far ahead brings you down and confuses you, focusing on the present helps your strength. So glad to hear your little girl is healthy and happy! Is she your first? Do you have to take Tamoxifin or similar drug to block hormones now?

As Mich said 39 is not old, I had my last child at 38..Im glad you found the other ladies on here, Im sure they will guide you through this hard battle..wishing you & your little bundle lots of love & strength...take care :) Christine x
