BreastScreen NSW now to advise of Breast density
Nine News, this evening, advised that BreastScreen NSW (BSNSW) will be advising clients of their Breast Density from now on and the risk is poses - and this should hopefully result in earlier detect...

Sadly, even at 9.30pm tonight, Fri, 4th April 2025, BSNSW is STILL advertising age 50-74 as the guidelines for breast screening :(
It is available to ALL Australian women from age 40 and up with NO UPPER AGE LIMIT! They just won't notify you that your review is 'due' every 2 years - you need to 'diary it ahead' yourself & ring them for your appointment.
Check out these previous threads about the necessity of being advised of Breast Density - the wheels turn slowly :( (Take a note of the dates of each post ...... IT HAS TAKEN A WHILE!) - in the meantime, many women have been diagnosed with a worse stage BC than they needed 😡 :
