Worth the struggle through snake infested scrub, the best swimming hole in North East Vic. I found this spot about 15 years ago at the height of my trout fishing mania. The back corner would be three metres deep and I've pulled a couple of memorable fish out of it.
It truly is an effort to get there, which is why no-one else seems to know about it. The Chickie is out of shot having a freak about the march flies--she ended up wearing my T-shirt. The indignity of it all :)
