A little bit of Kimberley ingenuity.
Currently on a short break of 5 days in Port Hedland (750kms from home). Catching up with old friends. Navarra diesel fuel filter is leaking from bleeder pipe and so sucking in air. Trip down involved pumping fuel filter to bleed inlet every time we stopped. Could not get new part for love or money in Hedland. Problem solved using Phillips head screw driver shoved into bleeder pipe and cabled tied in place. A bit of Kimberley ingenuity and the car starts and no leaking diesel!!!
It will get us home tomorrow.
Temperature in Hedland is currently 36.6 degrees. No humidity.
