Not everyone loses their hair on chemo. I was initially petrified of losing it.. I was told you may not. My hair thinned over the time; depends on the type of chemotherapy, I think.
I bought a wig, but only wore it once !
I wore a cap and it was summer, so was not too bad.
Looking back I did look a bit pale and had less hair, but....
I got through it, with support from family and friends. Remember it is Ok to ask for help.
Time passes... All the emotions that come out of the box on diagnosis.. can settle back again...
On chemo.. I felt a bit " angelic " for a while, but looked ..well I tried not to think of how I looked ! Luckily I was working in a place where I wore a hair net, and I stayed home more also, as tired, so could rest.
