Tingling in my toes

Hi ladies.....

I am experiancing tingling in my toes (like pins and needles) it seem to be the two or three middle toes on each foot .... I am assuming it has something to do with the chemo? circulation? will discuss with my oncologist in a few weeks but is this normal and will it go away or is this a permanent thing?

thanks

Sue

  • Yes. I have the same in my feet and used to have more in my fingers too. My ONC said it was a common side fx of taxol. Good to talk to yours about it. as the swelling has improved with my fluid tablets, my hands are less puffy and the pins and needles lessened. Feet still tingly. I also sleep with my legs elevated (pillows & old doona under mattress) which seems to make it better. It could all be in my head but it makes me feel somewhat empowered to try.

  • it can be a common side effect from chemo.

    Ask your Onc ASAP.

it goes away sometimes, but then going untreated can sometimes lead to permanant damage.

It has a name - but i cant think of it right now. neuropathy i think....
