Had appointment with surgeon this afternoon regarding pathology results of last surgery on 5/2...He took out 16mm more tissue ...
Wow! Any stray cancer cells should be shaking in their boots right now, Tracy. Your hubby is spot on with his thinking too. Just wanted to wish you lots and lots of positive thoughts for tomorrow. If you do have any trouble side effect wise just jump on here and I am sure that you will find lots of helpful hints about minimizing any discomfort.
I had FEC/D and found the main things that helped were drinking lots of water to flush it through (most of the drugs do their thing and are out of the body in the first 48 hours). If you can manage some gentle exercise (I just walked) I think that helps heaps too.
