The most newbie question ever?
I’ve searched and honestly cannot find an answer to this in factsheets or anywhere else... what does chemo feel like when it’s being administered? Is it cold? Room temperature? Do you not really notic...

@AllyJay I hadn’t even thought of snacks!! Good one. My husband is allowed to come with me for my first one thankfully so I can send him off to find whatever my heart desires! After that due to COVID it’s a solo endeavour. And yes, I generally enjoy a very dark sense of humour!! But I will be honest and say I absolutely howled at the moon and cried my eyeballs dry in the shower this morning, so it’s not nonstop LOLs by any means 🥺 like everyone else just drawing on whatever I can find to cope with this very sudden situation.
These descriptions are really useful in having some idea of reality (or multiple realities). I guess I didn’t realise how many tropes from movies and TV I have in my head around treatment - even though I do have sibling that’s gone through extensive chemo, it was 22 years ago and I wasn’t there all the time at the hospital.
I’ve forced myself to do a 15 min yoga video to calm myself down which really helped, along with walking my dog for an hour this morning. Putting on a brave face when my children are home is so hard, but that’s a whole other thread no doubt.
