@JoeyLiz Thanks so much for the explanation. I'm sorry it's taken me this long to respond but driving for 3 hours every day is like having a full time job.
You have explained it to me soooo much better than the radiographers.
I've now done 19 of 30 sessions and still only look a bit pink in the major part of the coverage. But it's a huge area they want me to cover and there are certain sections that take way more of the gel.
Those sections. mainly along the scar line and above, are changing colour, but no broken skin. Some pimples come and then go and it's itchy at night. My underarm hairs have all been burnt away but the skin is intact - pink but no blistering.
Invasive cancer cells appeared along the scarline from my mastectomy done in December so I know they're targeting the skin.
