Still waiting!
Hi all,
Even though I have been given a positive result from my surgery I am still waiting to hear from the medical oncologist to see when or if I am going to have chemo before starting radiotherap...

Yes the waiting that comes with BC certainly gives a new meaning to taking things as they come!!! I like Heather had a big wait between diagnosis and surgery and now surgery and starting chemo as we've now discovered I have low white blodd cell count before any treatment. For me I have had to stop 'what iffing' and second guessing everything and say it's not going to change so deal with it as it is. Each time I have a question I ask it - of the oncologist, the oncology nurses, breast care nurse, my gp and the lovely ladies on here. That has worked for me. My plans keep moving the goalposts but having a plan works even if I'm not game to fill many days with anything but medical appointments.
Will be thinking of you and hope the news is good and you have the chance to put a plan in place soon.
