I think that it is really important to tell your oncologist about ALL your side effects because there is so much that can be done for you. Having said that, I did find that I was knocked out usually on day five or so and just needed to rest up. As the treatments went on, I found that I got more and more tired but I ate well and was very well looked after and I think that made a difference - be very careful with bugs etc because they can be pretty ruthless when you are in the middle of chemo - and don't ever hesitate to go to a and e at any point if you feel unwell - everyone is very understanding and they will roll out the red carpet for you once you tell them that you are on chemo - having said all of that, I absolutely agree that everyone is different and so your communication with your doctors is very important to get the help that you need at the time....good luck on this very challenging journey...
