Scared Sh**less!
About to start Chemo, have heard stories of women unable to control bowels and vomitting on way home from chemo. Can anyone shed some light on this and any preparations??

Everyone as covered all the gory bits so I'll go with a positive.
The best part about being bald is having a shower.
I too had very long hair, but didn't get it cut short. I just waited till it started to go then shaved. It wasn't as sad as I expected it to be, I guess I was prepared because I knew I had about 14 days from first treatment (after reading about it here). It happened day 13.
But jump under the shower and you'll know what I mean.
Good luck with it all, chemo is wrong on so many levels, just go with it, do as recommended and you'll make it through.
