Results from CT and body scan

Blood tests were 'good' and scans showed no evidence that the cancer had spread. Yippee! Amazing to be relieved that I just need mastectomy and axillary clearance! Perspective is a funny thing. Mind you I will also need radiotherapy and chemo I believe but none of that is clear until the nasty pasties are analysed....

Surgery in a couple of hours - 4th March. Need to be admitted (or is that committed) at 5pm! St Andrew's. I can't wait for the cancer to be taken away! But I know the surgery isn't 'nice' and I will be in hospital for 4-5 days.... Always plusses and minusses...

I have been inundatd with emails, texts, calls from family and soooo many friends. Being carried along by their love and support. Mind blowing really.

More when I'm lighter and sorer. Is that a word? If I don't laugh I'll cry....
