results after mastectomy & chemo plan
On 23rd May I had a skin & nipple sparing mastectomy, all went well with the surgery. My wound has healed well.
3 weeks post surgery I still have the drain in, finally today the output is down to 40ml, i'm hoping it's the same or less tomorrow so I can get it gone!
They removed all 17 lymph nodes and all 17 were cancerous. They were able to leave 1mm of healthy tissue between my cancerous spots & my chest wall. Originally there were 3 spots, but the Dr i saw said only two - apparently two had merged into the one. Estrogen & Progesterone positive, HER2 negative
I saw the Oncologist yesterday & have my chemo plan; I start chemo on 26th June. The plan is - Doxorubicin & Cyclophosphamide every 2 weeks for a total of 4 times. Following that, Paclitaxel every 2 weeks for a total of 4 times.

Following that will be radiation & hormone blockers for 5 years.
