I have yet to start radio therapy, will start in 4 weeks. however I have spoken to women who are doing radiotherapy and are able to continue working. Spoke with four women in hospital waiting room and they all were manageing to work 3 were fulltime with time off to attend appts. and 1 was part-time. so 4/4 were managing. They all did say there was no energy to party but still manageing work, home and family with support of their partners, with the odd night out but early to bed. Their words of advise to me REST as much as possible and look after your skin, so I've started a severe moisturising regime. I will be able to update you in four weeks time. So lets both stay positive that we will be the ones to breeze through.
