I think they only close for the public holidays. Ask your rad onc to explain the science, but my understanding is they try to deliver a prescribed dose in as short as period as is practical and which does not endanger the patient. I was having treatment in February and March and had to reschedule around long weekends and Easter. I also lost a day because of equipment failure. They packed p few double fryings into the last two weeks to make up.
