Hello pink ladies
I am yet to start my rads but I was told during my first interview:
No soap unless you choose a PH balanced soap like cetaphil.
No deodorant but if you must, crystal only.
No lotion or oil that contains mineral oil. Sorbolene or Moogoo udder light were the two recommended.
If there is any discomfort tell the rad team.
Cotton tshirt no bra. If you need support wear it over the cotton tshirt.
No sun.
Dry with patting motion or air dry.
If you can leave the area exposed to the air for a little while every day.
But as with chemo I expect we all react differently and will all need to vary our instructions to suit.
