Radiotherapy at Sunshine Hospital, Melbourne
Has anyone done radiotherapy at Sunshine? I have to let my oncologist know which hospital I want to go to next week. Here are my choices:
Epworth Freemasons-East Melbourne. Too far every day on the Westgate fwy!
Western General, Footscray. Might as well go to east Melbourne. Time wise and distance almost the same.
Geelong Hospital, Geelong. As above.
Sunshine Hospital, Sunshine. Closest but the Western Ring Road, Grrr!
I do know that the Sunshine Hospital is a joint venture with the Peter Mac Centre and it opened in 2011 but that's all I know. Would appreciate some feedback. Cheers Cheryle :)

- I also did 30 sessions of radiation at Sunsine Hospital having my last session last week. Could not fault them, staff are great and appointments always were on time.Highly recommend them.

- Hi Cheryle I just finished 5 weeks rads at Sunshine.. The staff were amazing.. Service was great.. I was looked after very well!! :)
