@Sister Thanks for sharing all your news & great that you are getting on OK with your rad & the RAH are treating you well. Good that you dont have the breath hold. One less thing to deal with! It will be finished before you know it & then you can tick off that box & move forward! I can't imagine what you & many others have had to endure, so much more than me & I often feel guilty that I have got off so lightly. I KNOW you will be back on that paddle board & down at the beach & exercising full of energy before you know it. You must try to stay positive as you & many others are such an inspiration to me. The strength you all show is amazing & I can't wait til you are all finished your treatment & medications & can say Goodbye to this dreaded disease!
Sounds like you & i should have a garage sale to sell off our excess furniture! I too have furniture from my parents who have both died as well as my grandparents so i know exactly where you are coming from!!
It's great that you are doing an exercise program. That is the best way to clear your mind & get those endorphins going!! It really makes you feel better in the mind & body so keep up the good work!
I too, was told to get a bone density test to get a base level now that my ovaries have gone so hope your results were good. It will be soon that we have to get our yearly mammos done so we will keep in touch to help each other through.
Thanks for your info re the clinic at Stepney. I'll check it out with my surgeon & see what she says. I don't reckon I can fit any more appts in on the day i come over as I have 4 already so if she says it will be worth it, I'll book it in for my next visit.
Great to hear that you may soon be back at work. It really is good to get back into some "normal" duties & it helps to get your mind off things & find a routine again & catchup with your workmates.
Keep up the good work, stay strong & positive & you will be through this before you know it. Thanks for your support & advice & we'll keep in touch. Many hugs & much love xxxx
